Photo Guidelines

We’ve put together these simple guidelines to help make sure you get the best picture on canvas.

Tips for Taking the Perfect Photo

Get the most out of your megapixels. Set your digital camera to take pictures at the highest megapixel setting. The bigger the better when it comes to printing.

Good lighting for great results. Make sure your environment is not too dark or too bright. Avoid direct sunlight and high contrast shadows.

Take a bunch of shots! We can’t all get the perfect picture on the first try so increase your odds by snapping a lot.

Keep your subject centered. To gallery wrap your canvas, we need to wrap a couple inches around the sides of the frame. Make sure nothing you want to see is at the edges of the photo or you might lose it.

Picture Resizing

The size and quality of the source image file determines how big we can make your canvas. It’s usually safe to stretch the picture a bit, but there’s a limit to how far we can go before it looks funky.

Don’t Worry—We Can Help

If your picture cannot be properly resized and printed we will tell you before we start. Feel free to send us a picture if you’re not sure if it will work and we’ll help you out.

Offensive or obscene images will not be printed.
